Where I'm From Poem for English

It's hard to say
Exactly where I come from
I've always wondered
Never come to a conclusion
But always have ideas

Am I from the pick?
Or the strings?
The case, maybe?
Yes, the case
Carrying the necessities
To put on a show
A portable getaway
When it's just for me

Am I from the rice?
Or the plates?
The cupboard, maybe?
Oh, my cupboard!
An abundance of treasures
Be it candy or toys
Stashed up high
And it's just for me

Am I from the strange looks?
Or the regret deep in their eyes?
The sacred promise I made?
That tempted commitment
To my future beloved
He's doing the same I pray
And our first kiss
He saved just for me

With my hands to the sky
And my knees to the earth
Father, you love me
You think I'm beautiful
How come?
I don't deserve it
But you died anyway
You died just for me

Wherever I'm from
I know I don't belong here
My place comes later
Once my work is done here

Good and faithful servant,
This is where you are from.

The Prince and the Peasant Girl

The prince needs a love
The peasant girl needs a love
He leaves his castle
She hears about him
He falls in love as soon as He sees her
She's never seen anyone like Him
He tells her He loves her
She says she's not worthy
She's being held back
So He makes her a promise

He goes and shows and proves
His utter, indescribable, unfathomable love
For her
He fights all her darknesses
He defeats her every nightmare
And just as He shows her the light
He collapses
He lay there dying
He takes His last breath

In joy, she sees what He's done
In horror, she sees how He's won

She whispers, "I love you..."
She says, "I love you."
She shouts, "I love you!"
She cries, "I love you!!!"
She screams, "I LOVE YOU!!!"

He breathes again
He feels alive again

She feels worthy because of Him
He feels joy because of her

And they lived happily ever after
